The Foundation strongly believes and advocates for gender equality and that no sport, job or colour is gender specific. Forca Goa’s value of diversity and inclusiveness means our programmes are for all children.
In addition to opening our centers and festivals to girls we have also made gender equality a specific theme we want to tackle through our life skills workshops. The hope is that the gender equality workshops will further reinforce the merit and value of girls on the field and help slowly overcome old prejudices against the same.
2017 - 18 IMPACT
- 19 schools sent girls teams to participate in our Junior Gaurs League
- 150+ girls have joined our grassroots training.
- Almost equal number of girls to boys ratio at our festivals in co-ed institutions
